Biography

Paula Rauchfuss has more than 35 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry specifically in land, land administration, and energy software. She has extensive experience in all functions of land work, administration of records, contractual performance and processing, as well as supervisory experience in leading a large and highly effective team of lease and division order analysts including mentoring, cross training, and college recruiting.

Representative Experience

Gained extensive land administration experience responsible for all contract, surface, right-of-way, unit, lease, well, and ownership information requiring accurate and timely maintenance
Acquired significant experience with federal, fee simple, state and tribal lands in addition to surface and mineral ownership as well as knowledge in a variety of oil and gas basins
Managed mineral, leasehold and surface payment and performance obligations for leases, deeds, rights of way, and contracts in addition to all division order efforts for new well setups, revenue distribution, payouts, suspense tracking, division order processing, ownership transfers, and escheat
Oversaw SOX compliance relative to company interest and distribution of revenue, and wrote key control narratives for division order and leasehold compliance and certifications of internal compliance on behalf of the company quarterly and annually
Acquired extensive experience in acquisitions and divestitures for surface, wells and leasehold involving due diligence, land brokers, defect notices, transition services agreements and adjusting manpower to appropriately support asset. Further experience in administering such activities within the appropriate records
Gained excellent experience with project management to include project budgets, gate reviews and check ins, execution of project results, and manpower planning
Implemented and managed multiple software applications including QGIS mapping solution, Quorum Land Suite, Quorum Document Solutions (digital file room), Quorum eCalendar, Ad hoc queries and monthly audit reports to include configuration and business decisions, regression and user-acceptance testing, change management, training, documentation, and go-live activities
Managed physical or digital files and file room management ensuring security relative to sensitive owner information
