Mitch Moore thrives on hard work and is known by his colleagues and clients as an effective communicator and problem solver. Mitch helps clients mitigate the immediate risk and guides them through best practices to prevent future disruptive and costly litigation.
Mitch handles an array of litigation spanning professional liability, commercial contract disputes, commercial landlord and tenant disputes, premises liability, breach of contract matters, estate disputes, and other general litigation cases. Mitch’s clients include hospitals, nursing homes, realtors, attorneys, state agencies, jails, law enforcement officers, private businesses, and individuals who rely on his advice and experience. Mitch also has experience defending commercial tractor trailer operators in cases involving catastrophic accidents and fatalities. In addition to his litigation practice, Mitch also serves as a pseudo external general counsel for a number of businesses.
Mitch serves as a mentor for young attorneys and participates in the West Virginia State Bar’s Bridge the Gap program and has also served as a lunchtime lecture speaker at the West Virginia University College of Law. His approachability and focus on responsive client service endear him to his clients and colleagues.
