2025 EMLF 46th Annual Institute

Steptoe & Johnson is sponsoring the 46th Energy and Mineral Law Foundation (EMLF) Annual Institute on June 8-10, 2025 in Nashville, TN. EMLF is a legal community committed to the thoughtful study and examination of energy and natural resource related topics.

Michael Moore, Conference Chair, will help deliver the Conference Welcome on June 9 at 8:30 am.

Alexandria Lay will be presenting on “M&A Trends in the Energy Industry” on June 10 at 10 am. This presentation will discuss trends impacting the energy industry, including the change of administration and the focus of energy companies in technological integration.

Britt Freund and Jason Lucas will be presenting as part of a panel on “JOAs and Pitfalls” on June 10 at 10:45 am. This panel will discuss the issues that arise with joint operating agreements.
