As an attorney with more than 20 years of prior experience as a principal at privately held oil and gas exploration and production companies, Jules Brenner provides clients with a unique understanding of both the legal and business issues that energy companies face. He focuses his practice on advising energy clients engaged in upstream activities, including exploration and production and the buying and selling of producing properties, minerals, royalties, and other assets; midstream activities, including transportation and storage, and the marketing and trading of crude oil; and service companies to the upstream and midstream sectors.

In addition, Jules often serves as outside general counsel to energy companies, and regularly advises clients in transactional and corporate structuring, corporate mergers and acquisitions, asset acquisitions and divestitures, private placements of debt and equity securities, private equity financings, and corporate governance matters.
